INSURANCE COVERAGE
Treatment of many eye conditions is covered by insurance, including Medicare. If you have questions about what is covered by your private healthcare insurance, contact your plan provider, or provide us with a copy of your insurance card and we will check for you.
If we are not a “participating provider” for your insurance, we ask that you pay in full at the time of your visit. As a courtesy, we are happy to file the claim with your insurance company and they will reimburse you.
If your secondary insurance does not automatically cross (medigap) over from Medicare, we will collect the Medicare co-insurance at the time of your office visit and file your claim to your secondary insurance as a courtesy. If for any reason, your secondary insurance rejects the claim, YOU will be responsible for payment and re-submitting the claim or resolving the issue.
