Emily Childress Bollin, O.D.

Dr. Bollin is certified through the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, as well as the West Virginia and South Carolina Boards of Examiners in Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the West Virginia Optometric Association and the South Carolina Optometric Association. She graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition. She then received her Doctorate degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry, graduating cum laude. During her training, Dr. Bollin completed an externship at the Dayton, OH Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Bollin is a third generation Optometrist who moved to Hilton Head in May 2007. She previously worked in her hometown of Charleston, W.V. She has been competitively riding American Saddlebred horses since the age of four and has won two reserve World Champion titles. Her husband, Nick Bollin, O.D. is from Cincinnati, OH and works at Georgia Eye Institute.
